About Us

The Community Association for Information Systems Security Working Group (CAISSWG) is a non-profit, professional organization dedicated to advancing the professional understanding and capabilities of Assessment and Authorization (A&A), cybersecurity and Information Technology professionals. CAISSWG convenes to discuss and address mutual information security concerns, making strategic recommendations to resolve issues identified by its members. The group collaborates closely with government agencies to implement robust information systems security policies. As a strategic partner to the Information Security Working Group (ISWG), and the Contractor SAP Security Working Group (CSSWG) and an MOU partner to the National Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee (NISSPAC), and NCMS, the Society of Industrial Security Professionals, CAISSWG plays a pivotal role in enhancing national information security standards.

Conferences

CAISSWG conferences are attended by a wide variety of security professionals representing many diverse aspects of cybersecurity. These include Authorizing Official (AOs), senior policy makers, ISSMs, subject matter experts, and other technical specialists.

We host two conferences each year at an industry facility. They are filled with policy updates, tool demos, presentations, and briefings that are provided by both government agencies, industry subject matter experts, and/or applicable vendors in the cybersecurity field.

Our conferences are 3-day events with an optional 4th “Industry Partner Day”. We always plan a fun Social Evening where we can get together as an organization in a fun setting to network and get to know each other.
